1. God will embrace, love and receive anyone who calls out to Him. There is no individual and no group of people with whom God does not passionately want fellowship.
2. Salvation depends upon whether a person accepts Jesus Christ as Savior; it has nothing to do with your particular "sin package." To God, homosexual and heterosexual sin is identical.
3. Temptation is not sin until it is acted upon.
4. God intends for the church to be like a hospital where people are healed and nurtured. It is not a club for people who are already healed.
5. Sexual orientation is on a continuum. People can, and do, change their position on that continuum. Some Christian homosexuals have found that God has completely transformed their sexual orientation, and they have subsequently married. Others move to a place of personal victory and Christian service as single adults.
6. While genetic disposition and early childhood experiences strongly influence one's sexual orientation, a person is not obligated to follow their tendencies.
7. Sexual orientation is one of the more difficult aspects of a human being to change.
